Overview

Edgenuity provides an online intervention program for K-12 students called Pathblazer, from which students are able to receive targeted instruction in ELA or Math. Pathblazer provides data that allows educators to monitor progress so that educators can personalize learning. This provides options for students to stay on grade level or more forward, depending on their systematic progress. Pathblazer utilizes existing test data from Scantron, NWEA MAP, and the Renaissance program. It identifies problem areas and provides targeted instruction to fill in those gaps and spur students forward on their individualized learning path. It pinpoints gaps, personalizes instruction, and then monitors progress. "Aligned to Common Core and other state standards, Edgenuity’s courses include challenging content, relevant activities, adaptable formative and summative assessments, and real-time feedback."[1]
