Overview

VSCO is a creative photo-editing app. The app is available to those who have an iPhone or an Android smartphone. VSCO allows individuals to edit their pictures and videos through a collection of filters.

History

The app was founded in 2011, and created by Joel Flory, Greg Lutze, and co-founded by Kevin Systrom. Vsco was formally known as vscocam, as the pictures were edited through vsco, but then they were posted to Instagram. Vsco soon released an app in 2012 and had over 150 million downloads through iPhones and Androids. After the app had amounted to its success of 150 million. downloads, it soon ran a subscription model in 2017 where people would pay 19.99 a year.
