Overview
Superkids is an online reading tool geared for grades K-2. The program is for use by both teachers and students/parents. Teachers are provided with a vast array of tools such as interactive songs introducing letters or certain letter sounds within the classroom, tools for communication with parents, guides for classroom activities, reteaching and reinforcement of ideas, and report maintenance of student online reading activity. For students, there are interactive books of varying levels for pre-readers to fluent readers and also interactive and engaging online games for students to play that help reinforce letter and word recognition. For every book and game completed, students earn a star. Teachers have the option to reward students for meeting certain numbers of stars throughout the school year to encourage online learning in a fun and educational way.
