Seterra is a website that is dedicated to learning countries, capital cities, flags, islands, volcanoes, rivers, and oceans of the world. For the default game mode, pin, players are prompted to select a given country, or corresponding category prompt. Players then click on the correct location on the map. If the player chooses incorrectly, the player is informed of the name of the country they incorrectly selected. The player is then given 2 more chances to guess the country's location before Seterra. If the player is unable to do so, Seterra reveals the location by flashing the correct location in red. For many of the quizzes, Seterra keeps a percentage score of how many the player has correctly identified. This feature can be used for friendly competition among students, as well as tracking student growth.

Overview

What is Seterra?

What content does Seterra cover?

Seterra offers more than 300 quizzes in 35 languages! [1] Quizzes include continents, capitals, flags, provinces, states, oceans, populated countries, volcanoes, the periodic table of elements, the skeletal system, and so many more!

The quizzes can also be customized. Instead of playing a whole continent, players may choose the countries they want on the quiz. They then receive a link that they can share with others to practice their custom quiz. For players who support Seterra on Patreon, there is an option to add your own locations and labels on the maps to create your own unique custom quiz.

In addition to the quizzes, Seterra has printable content to help students study when they are offline.

Where can I get Seterra?
