Overview
Quizlet is the leading mobile and web-based study application. It's currently used by 1 in 2 high school students and 1 in 3 college students in the US. Students can search millions of different study sets which allow them to learn via flash cards, fill in the blank, matching and other study games. Teachers can have students use existing sets or even create their own with the templates available.
The founder of Quizlet start the website in 2005 when he was asked to memorize 111 animal names for his French class. In 2011 text to speech capability was added.
