Recently, I used Canva for a Graphic Design elective for grades 5th-8th. The students really enjoyed making invitations for school events and personal reasons. Students had the opportunity to create a Snapchat filter for a Fall Carnival. Another great aspect of Canva is that it is really hands off. It was easy to show my students a YouTube video on how to use it and let them play around with making creations. In my professional use of Canva, I use it to recreate anchor charts for my classroom. I have blown up posters or used the illustrations to cut and paste onto a poster. In my personal use, I have created birthday invitations for my children and Christmas Cards for extended family
