Overview

The documentary Most Likely To Succeed looks at the history of education in the United States, examining the growing shortcomings of conventional education methods in today’s innovative world. The film follows students into the classrooms of High Tech High, a project based learning school in San Diego. The film follows two 9th grade groups over the course of one school year as they tackle project based learning and socratic seminars, all in preparation for their exhibition night in which they will present their projects to the public. It takes a look at new approaches in education today such as project based learning, socratic seminars, and exhibition nights. This film will have you questioning the traditional method of education, and how we currently conduct education today. As our world continues to shift today, and more and more middle class jobs are disappearing, we are preparing our youth for jobs that no longer exist. This documentary takes a look at how education could shift in order to better prepare the youth for the future. This film demonstrated the use of Project Based Learning.
