Overview
Screencastify is an app that allows users to record videos using their own webcam and microphone. Annotation tools include mouse spotlight, drawing pen tool, and click highlighting. It gives users the option to record their full computer screen, just their webcam, or both by embedding the webcam. People commonly use this app to make videos that they then upload on YouTube. Screencastify also offers the option to save videos directly to one's Google Drive immediately after recording. Recordings can be exported as an MP4, animated GIF, or MP3. Screencastify also offers a user friendly editing software that is compatible with a variety of video formats.
