Prodigy is a free math learning platform that allows students to interactively develop and build on math skills inside a gaming system where children succeed by correctly answering math-related questions. Founded in 2011 by Alex Peters and Rohan Mahimker, Prodigy uses game-based learning to improve cognitive learning abilities and motivate students to learn. Prodigy can be used as an RTI (Response to Intervention/Instruction) tool or to prepare for standardized tests. Students can play either at home or at school. The classroom is a great place for students to get introduced to Prodigy. Students can create an account and use the teacher's code to access games.
