Overview
Through Code.org's Hour of Code, students can combine music creation and coding using Play That Tune. This app plays a series of notes on piano keys and students move blocks to create the melody that was just played. The app is recommended for grades 6 and up, and it would be an excellent tool for a beginning music class. This app could help bridge the gap between the arts and mathematics.
