Overview
Newsela is an interactive news source for grades 2-12. The articles provided by Newsela have been adapted from reputable news sources to meet the needs of specific grades and reading levels. Teachers can assign articles to students in subject areas such as ELA, science, math, and social studies. There is also a feature for students to take quizzes and track their growth in all classes.
Newsela is a free site, however, it does offer Newsela PRO at a competitive rate per school, grade level, or student.
