Facebook is a free, popular social networking site. Facebook is a great way to communicate with people within one's PLN. Facebook is also a great way to network with people outside of one's PLN.
Facebook, created by Mark Zuckerburg, for socialization and communication among "friends". Within Facebook, you connect with folks or "Friends", and follow their posts. Posts can be images, words about the happenings of their daily lives, Memes, videos, etc. All of which, once posted are visible to your friend network.
Facebook also has pages that you can follow, created for groups, businesses, schools, etc. When following these pages, you get updates when they post information as well.
